Well, there was also a set of ramps along wiht the guitar (an acoustic if you care).

Thanks to my bud Dave for helping me out on the 4 hour round trip to get it. I think it was WELL worth it.

I fucking love the pipes!! And the front end of course.

what was the guitar?

sidenote: guitar player in my band just traded 2 gibson elec's and a gibson bass (all 70's) for a martin acoustic.... things have huge cash value!

that front end is wild, though! i wish i could find people wanting guitar amps for bike parts

I'd call it a good trade. Those pipes are pretty bad ass!

The guitar was a $200 Alvarez in a $50 case and the ramps I got for free.

My plans, right now, are to pull it apart and get inside the motor and see what's going on. Get it all purty and what not. I'm planning a rigid frame with a decent rake. I defiantely want to keep the pipes, they are fucking bad ass. And of course the Girder. I don't particularly care for coffin tanks so this one will likely go on eBay or on here sooner or later.

I'm planning on a two year build so it's easy on the wallet. But I'll post some progress pics here and there.

Great find, I see a lot of potential there. You can't beat that price either.

Have any ideas what are ya going to do with it yet ?
Dig the girder, what a waste on that stock frame the way it was though.
There's a way to set it up that will rake and extend it w/o touching the neck, if you're interested
I inherited this from my old boss that was chopping these japs back in the day and It's a formula that can be played with to fit the height of the rider, it's 3 3/4 inches in the down tubes......take that line from the backbone off the neck and make the seat rails....then extend the swing arm 3 1/2 or 3 3/4 inches and you have a frame that is comfortable for long hauls or bar hoppin'. or You can say shut the hell up and mind you're own......lol
