I'm in london with 2 days off of work and nothing to do. Where should I go? I've only seen one Triumph since I've been here. Site seeing is gay. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d73/dilznic/Europe%2008/wr.jpg

christ I hate London with a passion, get out of London and get yourself down towards the coast if time allows!!

I live 12 miles from the Triumph factory in Hinckley and see loads of them, old and new, your not missing much if that helps?

The "wenches" in London are 2's by U.S. standards, I don't drink Alcohol, aaaand I kinda hate fun a little. I do wish That Clark Grizwald was here with me though.

trip out to brooklands http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/ is a cool trip

Well you could have started at where I can find way sweet dudes I guess. That Museum looks awesome, I'm going to see how to get there from my hotel. Thanks I would be interested in seeing a cool strip club here if such a thing exists. I am right next to Marble Arch

Two words, ACE CAFE. I think theyre still open 24-7, if they are go later in the night. Pubs let out @ 11 so from midnight to 3 am, good people watchin, even if theres a lack of bikes. My trip to england was 2002, i might be way off now! Another tip, dont go to see sights! just walk around, theres plenty of history, food and beerbeerbeer.

The only Ace Cafe I can find is about 10 miles away so maybe too far to check out unless there is a tube stop nearby. This is like my 20th time in London and I have never found anything worth while here. I think we might hit a war museum tomorrow though.

Go to Smo's house and drink his beer. Anything after that will be a bonus. Hell drinking beer with Sumo is a bonus!

theres an attitude that you are going to have a good time if i ever heard one haha

ace cafe is a pain in the arse to get to unless you have wheels - and at the end of the day its just a cafe. ok its got history etc but its really not that great

have yu been to the science museum ? thats an awsome day out if you havent been

also the brunel museum - dont know if youve heard of him but LEGEND - its a crappy little rundown museum that not many people go to but the info there is fascinating - real mans engineering stuff

http://www.brunel-museum.org.uk/

heres a usefull website - http://www.tfl.gov.uk/

stick in your hotels postcode [zipcode] and the postcode of where you want to get to and it gives you the bus numbers / tubes etc...

it will get you out to brooklands the easiest way possible

as for strippers - they are about 4x more expensive than in america and you will only see their boobs at most places... DONT GOT IN STRIP CLUBS IN SOHO - more often than not they will rip you off massively

im in camden - finishing work a it early tomorrow, about 6ish - if you fancy a quick beer send me a message - cant stay in london long but if you just want a face that will actually talk to you [rare thing in london] drop me a line we can swing by a bar for a swift one

and fredo - too kind - ive drunk enough of your beers there - you need to get over here and drink some of mine and do some riding in the drizzle.

i love people that have been to london so think they have been to england... i have worked down here for 8 years now and only know 4 people that are actually from london

its a hole of a place - people from everywhere, everyone looking after themselves and nobody else. its just a big city - could be anywhere in the world.

ideally dannyslc - if you have the cash / time. get on a train out of london you dont need to get all that far - maybe only 45 minutes / an hour and then you are more likely to experience england as opposed to the london thing.

infact:

http://www.nationalmotorcyclemuseum.co.uk/

its up in birmingham but im sure there will be a way up there on public transport - it'll be an adventure and it really is a fantastic museum. amazing after it burnt down maybe 8 years ago now. lots of stuff destroyed but a lot of it rebuilt and new stuff in there including hogslayer

I've been to big ben and it's kinda bullshit. As big a let down as the statue of liberty.

Be sure to get a bacon sandwich under the bridge. Bacon there is not like it is here in the States or Canada.
