So this was the old look. '96 Buell Front end

I had to replace a fork seal (Write up on that in the future) and decided to anodize them black and polish the triple trees.

Either way, that front end looks good. But I do like it a little better black.

What is the diameter of the stem and axle?
I thought about picking up a set of Buell forks.

The black looks slick. I want that front end for my fx...wonder if one will fit...

IDK the axle diameter, I need to measure it. This is a GREAT thread about a Buell front end install on a sportster, might give some insight on application to an FX

FWIW the front end handles excellent... makes up for the crappy ride from the short shocks...LOL

That article on xlforum is a really good write up, I remember reading it awhile back and wanting to do the swap as well. A cbr or r6/r1 front end would be pretty killer as well. I def like the black.

The black goes with the rest of the bike better than before. I bet those sons a bitches handle great huh.
