Hey man, looks awesome. I don't know your experience level exactly with doing this sort of thing, but I wanted to add my 2 cents. Make sure that you use a good clear like spray urethane or else it won't be hard enough. If you use regular rattle can clear from Krylon, Rusto or others it will be ruined if you spill gasoline on it. I found out the hard way recently and now I am faced with sanding the thing down to bare metal and starting all over again.

A friend of mine recommended using Helmsmans Spar Urethane spray. I picked up a can today at Home Depot for $8.98. My buddy uses it on helmets after he paints them and says that it goes on nice and easy just like any other rattle can paint but contains an agent that makes it harder than regular rattle can clear.

Or mix up your own professional clear if you have a pro paint gun etc. Point is, rattle can clear won't cut it.

Just my thought. I'd hate to see that beautiful tank be ruined. Nice job man.
