Complete Solid Driveline out of a 1987 Softail- Tulsa, OK $1300 OBO
Created: 4 month(s) ago
This is a complete driveline out of a 1987 FX Softail. 5 speed trans, stock primary including clutch assembly, etc, 80in (to the best of my knowlege) Evo engine and CV40 HD carb. I did have it running a few times when I first bought it as a project, but tore it down to replace gaskets, seals and O rings because it did leak pretty bad. I have already replaced a few of the gaskets, and it comes with the rest of the complete James gasket kit I purchased for it. It does need to be put back together, but this is a solid driveline for a softail or rigid project. *I do also have the heads, they're at my buddy's machine shop. He redid the exhaust studs and cleaned up the plug threads (one was crossthreaded. It was cleaned up and NOT helicoiled.)* Clear title was sold with frame. Message me with any questions. I'd prefer pick up only, cause I don't want to ship all this shit and I want you to see it before you buy it, but we can talk about shipping at your expense. open to trades for parts I can use. Perfect for a reliable rigid or softail chop. *EDIT* I'd trade for quite a few different front ends (Spitfire girder, Voodoo Relic, Inline Springer, maybe a built dual disc narrow glide), frame work on a bare softy frame I have, a stock width softail frame with some up and out, and all manner of other shit. I have three Harley projects going on right now, so there's a good chance I can use what you've got. I also have other stuff I could throw in as boot for the right deal, like a Dyna/Sporty/FXR inverted front compete with brakes and trees, bunch of Dyna parts, etc. Also willing to break it up if necessary.
