2stroketim made a post in this thread: Suzuki Savage buildI cut 2" off the springs, and raised the fork tubes appx 1.5" and never touched the kickstand. The rear setup was 8" struts. This bike was low.....so low in fact, that you couldn't get a drain pan under it to change the oil.
